Solar E-Cycles Kenya is a member of International group of companies dedicated to providing sustainable mobility and access to affordable energy across Africa (currently South Africa, Morocco and Kenya.)We design and assemble light electric solar-powered tricycles. Our organisation aspires to provide rural off-grid communities with affordable access to sustainable mobility and renewable energy. Our assertion is that providing this
communities with productive use of the energy generated onboard our tricycle will yield demonstrable social, economic and environmental impact.

Our Solar powered tricycles have the capability to carry 70-200 kg cargo and cover a range of 50-100km in a day. The tricycles can reach a top speed of 45kph using free solar energy. It’s power capacity ranges from 1500 to 3000Wh

MloZone are a ‘hub and spoke’ food production company, making ready-to-eat meals at a central kitchen and distributed to formal and informal food vendors as well as blue-collar workers. Initially, MloZone would distribute its products on foot. This limited the organisation’s customer reach. We began a pilot that used the solar tricycle as the primary means of distribution. Since then, MloZone has had the ability to reach more customers and thus recorded increases in revenue.
